NNSA graduate fellowships

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is offering graduate fellowships for students interested in

* Nuclear Science
* Materials Under Extreme Conditions and Hydrodynamics
* High Energy Density Physics

The fellowship provides full tuition plus a $36,000 per year stipend.

Applications are due Jan 16, 2013. You have to be a US citizen.

Physics tutors needed

The PEOPLE Program at La Follette High School is looking to recruit 3-4 strong physics tutors for the fall semester. We’d prefer students who are sophomores or above. The hours are 3-6pm at $11/hr, transportation to and from La Follette will be provided. Students must be available to work a minimum of two days/week and be present the entire 3 hour period.
