These positions are located in various offices at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Headquarters in Rockville, MD, Region I- King of Prussia, PA, Region II- Atlanta, GA, Region III- Lisle, IL, Region IV- Arlington, TX and the Technical Training Center (TTC)- Chattanooga, TN. These positions are Non Bargaining Unit.

Description

NextEra Energy Resources is one of the largest wholesale generators of electric power and renewable energy from the wind and sun in North America.

Perform moderately complex Mechanical System engineering and administrative tasks. Performs engineering tasks under direct supervision and demonstrates a good learning rate as experience is gained. Demonstrates a willingness and confidence to make independent decisions and solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.

Two (2) years or more of engineering or related experience required.

Preferred:

Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain license desired.

Additional Information:

Candidates must satisfy all Company and Nuclear Regulatory Commission security requirements.

Travel to support Fleet objectives and act as a member of the emergency response organization may be part of the requirements of this position.
